* NOVA pay (12% differential)

*2% Supplemental Pay

Law Enforcement Hiring Process

Here's what to expect after your application to DMV Law Enforcement:

  1. After its closing date, DMV screens and finalizes applications received during the position's posting period.
  2. Qualified and eligible candidates are scheduled for a panel interview.
  3. Selected candidate(s) from the interview go through a fingerprint-based criminal history check, driving record check, and an extensive Law Enforcement investigation will be conducted.
  4. Upon successful completion of the background process, a salary offer is extended.
  5. Once a salary offer is agreed upon, a hire date is established (10th or 25th of each month).

Note: All candidates must successfully complete a physical as a condition of employment.
